The only EDC rule that matters
An everyday carry light is only worth its specification if it is in your pocket, so rank on weight and shape first. Wurkkos publishes 32 grams for the TS10 V2 and Streamlight publishes 1.2 ounces for the MicroStream. Both of those disappear in a pocket. A 150-gram light with twice the output that you leave in a drawer produces exactly nothing.
This is not a soft observation, it is the whole reason the category exists. Everyone who has bought a flashlight has at some point owned an excellent one they stopped carrying because it was heavy, printed on their trouser leg, or dug into their hip when they sat down. The specification that predicts whether a light gets carried is mass and shape, and neither is on the front of the box.

Notice the qualifier in that last column. Wurkkos and Sofirn both publish weights without the battery, and an 18650 adds roughly 45 grams. That is not deceptive — it is standard practice, because the cell is sold separately — but it does mean a like-for-like comparison needs the cell weight added back.
Shape matters as much as mass
A flat light sits in a pocket differently from a round one. Streamlight's Wedge is 3.3 ounces, which is heavier than several lights here, and it carries better than lighter round lights because it lies flat instead of rolling into a lump. NEBO's SLIM Mini 500 is the same idea taken further.
The other shape question is the clip. A deep-carry clip that holds the light almost entirely inside the pocket is the difference between carrying something daily and putting it down. A shallow clip leaves an inch of light exposed, which snags and looks conspicuous.

How much output an EDC light actually needs
Two hundred to five hundred lumens covers essentially everything an everyday light is asked to do: finding a keyhole, reading a meter, looking under a desk, walking to a car, checking a noise in a garden. Beyond that you are carrying capability you will use a handful of times a year, and paying for it in grams every day.
The mode that matters most is the lowest one. A light with a usable sub-10-lumen setting is far more pleasant at night — it does not destroy your night vision or wake anyone up — and it runs for a very long time. Wurkkos publishes 6 hours 43 minutes at 1 lumen on the TS10.

What is the best EDC flashlight for the money?
Among lights with published specifications, the Wurkkos TS10 V2 is the strongest value case: 1,400 lumens, 32 grams without its cell, a replaceable 14500 battery, IPX8, and a published runtime at maximum output of one hour fourteen minutes. That last figure is rare at any price and almost unheard of at this one.
How many lumens do I actually need?
For walking a dog, finding a fuse box or reading a map, 100 to 300 lumens is plenty and will run far longer. For a garage, a yard or a campsite, 500 to 1,000 lumens is comfortable. Above about 2,000 lumens you are buying a burst rather than a mode, because almost no handheld light can shed that much heat continuously.
How many lumens should an EDC flashlight have?
Two hundred to five hundred lumens covers almost every everyday task and keeps the light small enough to actually carry. What matters more is the lowest mode: a usable setting under 10 lumens is far more pleasant at night and runs for many hours, which is why Wurkkos publishing 6 hours 43 minutes at 1 lumen on the TS10 is a more useful number than its maximum.
Can you replace the battery in a rechargeable flashlight?
It depends entirely on the model, and it is the single most consequential thing to check before buying. Lights built around a standard cell — an 18650, a 21700, a 14500, a 16340 — take a screw-off tailcap and a five-dollar replacement. Lights with a built-in cell, which manufacturers describe as 'integrated' or 'non-removable', cannot be re-celled by an ordinary owner: when the battery reaches the end of its cycle life the whole light is refuse. Energizer, for example, states plainly that the Vision HD Rechargeable uses non-removable lithium-ion batteries.
